What you could work on
- Conduct diagnostic and fault finding activities on electronic assemblies to component level
- Support the test lifecycle of high reliability electronics products
- Present test data and findings to engineering and production teams
- Implement Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test principles
- Mentor and guide diagnostic technicians and junior staff
- Apply corrective actions and debug techniques to production electronics
- Challenge existing processes and propose improvements
- Work across a range of electronic technologies in a manufacturing environment
Relevant experience
- Qualified in Electronics at degree, post-graduate, or equivalent level
- Experience in defence or military electronics environment preferred
- Proven skills in testing and fault finding electronic assemblies to component level
- Knowledge of test lifecycle and product validation processes
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Test (DFM/DFT)
- Ability to present technical data clearly to teams
- Mentoring or leadership experience desirable
- Security clearance: BPSS required
